I forget the precise quote, but the gist is, "people learned to say and spell Tchaikovsky and Mozart..." but nobody suggested those names be changed. And I have a friend who is gave her kids Gaelic names... like Saoirse Ronan... again, there was no sense that people would be put off learning the spelling and pronunciation.
